Job Summary:

As a Senior Dental Accountant, you’ll perform high-level bookkeeping duties for our client's set of books, take part in their monthly-financial review meetings & deliver on time, each month.

To be successful in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & experience with risk management, be responsive to our clients & supporting staff, have a high level of communication skills, & above all is reliable to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Perform bookkeeping services for several dental clients each monthRecord and pay accounts payable for select clientsIssue invoices to and collects from customersPayroll ManagementCreate financial statements and related financial reportsRemit payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxesAccount for fixed assetsReconcile bank accounts and petty cash accountsCollect information as needed for the annual auditMaintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing systemMonitor cash levelsRequirements:Work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar roleThorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislationHands-on experience with general ledger accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsExperience with cash management and risk assessmentGood knowledge of accounting softwareAttention to detailAbility to work with tight deadlinesBS or MS in Accounting or Finance
