Dispatching and Equipment Control Manager

Overall Responsibility: The Dispatching and Equipment Control Manager is responsible for overseeing dispatching, controlling the movement of containers (outbound and inbound) and maintaining good working relationship with 3rd party service providers.Duties & Responsibilities:Assists the Liner Operations Head in the development of the department’s strategic planning process.Assists the Liner Operations Head in the preparation of the annual operating budget and ensures that expenses are within the budget.Submits regularly operational related reports to the Liner Operations Head as basis of the overall operational performance of the department.Ensures that staff attends the required hours of training annually to enhance their competency requirement.Conducts regular evaluation of performance of 3rd party service providers.Ensures optimal customer satisfaction through the delivery of servicebased on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with customers as endorsed by the Sales & Marketing Department.Dispatching   7.1 Ensures accuracy and approves the Request for Payment for  trucking services within the limits of the charts of authority 7.2. Ensures timely processing of billings from truckers       8. Equipment Control  8.1. Ensures accuracy and approves the Request for Payment for Port Operator storage billings within the limits of chart of authority. 8.2. Ensures timely processing of billings from Port Operator 8.3. Ensures all billings pertaining to storage charges are billed to customers as applicable.​Education and Skills Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Required Skill(s): Operational Functions, Account Management, Good judgement, Keen to details and accuracy, Multi taskingPreferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.Amenable to work in Manila North Harbor.
