R & D Officer (Hogs)

JOB SUMMARY: 

Handles vaccines, veterinary drugs and disinfectant trials related to Robina Farms Hogs. He will also serve as Robina Diagnostic In-house veterinarian

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HOGS FARM RESEARCH AND AUDIT

1. Person in charge for Robina Hogs Farm Researches, such trials for Drugs, Vaccines, Management/ Animal Husbandry. Conducts the complete trial procedures from products evaluation, trial protocol preparation, conduction of trial in farm and presentation of results.

2. Conducts regular SOP and Biosecurity audits

3. Provides seminars and trainings in farm personnel

4. Conduct routine audits for farm area clearance

ROBINA DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY VETERINARIAN

1. Does the necropsy and diagnostic evaluations for results

2. Maintain/monitor biosecurity in the lab.

3. Helps in preparing documents and compliance for BAI`s Laboratory Accreditation for PCR and ELISA

4. Certifies laboratory results as approved by a veterinarian (alternative)

PRODUCT REGISTRATIONS AND FARM ACCREDITATIONS

1. Helps the farms operations in application for accreditations such as (GAHP, AWAC, Breeder Accreditation, Shipping Permits for RF11, No antibiotic No Hormone Testing)

2. Assist the Government relations officer in preparing necessary documents for Veterinary Products (either from Robichem / as Distributor of drugs)

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS

1. Maintains and updates the approved gantt chart for individual trials.

2. Weekly submission of accomplishments and actual schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have a license Veterinary Medicine

• Must be a team player, flexible and can work under minimal supervision

• Must know how to drive (with valid Driver’s License) and must be willing to travel

• Fresh graduates / or with work experience are welcome to apply

• Applicants must be willing to work in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City

• 1 Full time position available
