Senior Cost Accountant (Manufacturing Company)

Job Responsibilities:

Analyzes cost accounting data and assists with cycle count and physical inventoriesPrepares and analyzes weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by product group by customerCompares actual costs to standards and analyze variancesPerforms month-end closing activities such as detailed account analysis, reconciles sales, cost and inventory accounts by product category by customer, prepares journal entries as necessary and analyze inventory evaluation and inventory roll forwardReviews and analyzes inventory and margin reports, conducts research andperforms analytical studies regarding cost analyses and profitabilityPerforms monthly review of the compliance to revenue recognition policyMonitors Stock Turn Over per product category and ensures performance targets related to the inventory process are adhered toMonitors a system of controls, procedures and forms for the record of fixed assetsRecords fixed assets acquisitions and dispositions in the IFSTracks company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to investment budget and management authorizationsTracks the compilation of projects/investment costs into fixed assets accounts and closed out those accounts once the related projects/investments have been completedRuns the depreciation for all fixed assets and analyze the resultsReconciles the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary level account in the general ledgerReviews and updates the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation (both in functional currency and Philippine peso) 

Job Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree ,Preferably a CPA or CMA5 years related working experience in the related field is required for this position.With background in Manufacturing IndustryWilling to work in Malvar, Batangas CityFull-Time position(s) available.
