Sales Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for supervising and organizing the sales team. You will be in charge of managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with the marketing department on lead generation. He/She will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training of their salespeople.

Job Description:

Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls.Meeting planned sales goals.Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.Promoting the organization and products.Supervise the day-to-day activities of direct reports/subordinates and ensure feedback is forwarded to superior of the actual performance and escalation of any concerns/issues if need be.Develop the consistency-framework and ensure that the training needs of direct reports/subordinates are provided.Establish the scorecard/performance indicators of and conduct a periodic appraisal of direct reports/subordinates.Conduct periodic coaching and mentoring of direct reports/subordinates for better performance.Initiate innovation, creation, and utilization of tools for continuous improvement in and excellent operational execution.
