Overview:
Responsible for reviewing and redlining the incoming customer contracts from an HR perspective, which includes Human Rights and Labor Law perspectives.
Job Level: Lead (Independent Contributor)

ReviewWorking on incoming customer contracts as HR review party by reviewing, redlining, and approval the HR-related clausesNegotiating with the customer and providing advice to align on changesAdvising on potential financial and reputational risks from HR respectiveCoordinating the review of country-specific labor provisions to respective HR colleagues/legal team in local organizationsEnsuring that the customer’s HR policies on the contract are acceptable based on Schenker’s SMS content and diversity and inclusion strategy, which includes escalating to higher management when applicableTrainingConducting trainings under the Contract Management webinar framework and supporting communicationPreparing and updating the training materials and developing the content for newslettersObserving critical hot topics (e.g. customer expectations with employee impact, supplier diversity) under a strategic and structural perspective, and aligning with the respective HR Head Office topic owner (Head of Governance & Services)Others/support other topics from HR HO Governance and ServicesDeliverables & AchievableProper consultancy and review of customer contracts and questionnaires from HR perspective within the timelineEnsure legal certainty for Schenker and minimize risks.Qualifications
Graduate of laws with the ability to become acquainted with different areas of law especially labor law, Human rights law, European law, contract law Knowledge in international humanitarian law and human rights (ILO Standards, UN law) Collected relevant work experience in a law firm (preferably), ideally with a background in reviewing contractsDemonstrated a high level of discretion, along with a quick perception and understandingExperience working as part of a team with strong international collaborative skills Demonstrated the ability to transfer legal understanding into commercial outcomes Strong stakeholder engagement and interface managementShift: 1PM - 10PM
