Head of Custodian and Internal Security

Job Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Criminology or equivalent.He/she must have at least 5 years working experience as Head of Safety and Security Department in a Corporate setting.Certification as Safety Officer is a plus factor.The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.The candidate must be able to handle various safety and security concerns with competence.He/she must be able to implement company policies.He/she must have the eloquence in engaging in external affairs related to safety and security.The candidate must be able to initiate improvements/programs for the Department.He/she must be able to handle diverse personalities.He/she must be willing to travel to conduct site visits in various company properties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Head of Custodian

Mainly responsible for supervisory work involving the assignment and direct supervision of custodial employees in maintaing the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of the company buildings, offices, and properties where custodial support is needed.Ensures that the quality of custodial services meets established guidelines by inspecting the work of custodial personnel and directing corrective measures to be taken when necessary to meet those guidelines;Develops an effective team of custodial personnel by instructing all employees in the proper methods and use of materials and equipment for safe and efficient work performance, evaluating individual performances to meet established standards, providing require performance evaluations on custodial personnel and making recommendations regarding the retention of new employees.Ensures that custodial personnel have the equipment and supplies necessary to perform custodial services by issuing supplies as needed, completing request forms for replacement items, and storing the supplies and equipment in a secure storage facility.Provides continuity of custodial services under emergency conditions or unique circumstances by performing custodial duties directly related to the emergency conditions or as the situation dictates.

Head of Internal Security

Investigating suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches;Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls;Serves as personal security detail to the President; protecting from threatening situations.
