Facilities Manager - Warehousing

The Facilities Manager will serve as a Functional Head in the utilization of Company's Caloocan Logistics Warehouse to include facilities operational management, security, housekeeping, maintenance, business and legal compliance. Primary function is to transform facilities into a retention asset and should work both at the strategic level as well as operational level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Plans and manages operations and day-to-day activities of the facility and should play an active part of the decision-making and strategy development process.

· Coordinates with warehouse, delivery and transportation as far as the distribution chain process is concerned

· Develops facility plan and strategy and recommends on how to facilitate improvement and plays a central role in the whole process.

· Ensures that the facility and environment is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly and that employees have a safe workplace.

· Manages space allocation and workplace management.

· Manages the operation cost of the company’s assets.

· Manages project management and support services.

· Collaborates with stakeholders to provide the facility requirements.

· Manages compliance to internal procedures and documentation in compliance to company policy adhering to local laws related to facilities, building, assets, safety, employee rights and risk compliance

· Ensures that facility meets health and safety and energy efficiency standards

· Manages facility maintenance, testing and repairs on a timely basis and ensures replacing of old equipment when needed

· Oversee security of buildings and grounds

SEConDARY FUNCTIONS

· Attends meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, regulations in the performance of duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any 4 or 5yr courseMust have at least 5years experience as Supervisory/Managerial post for Facilities, Warehousing and LogisticsKnowledgeable in Warehouse operationsStrong Leadership and People Management SkillsGood communication skillsWilling to work in Caloocan
