Veterinary Nurse assistants are supplementary to veterinary care at Pendragon. The position is the most basic medical staff position. With sufficient training and experience, Veterinary Nurse Assistants may be eligible for the Veterinary Nurse position. Those without any background in the natural sciences may apply.

Expected Tasks and Duties:

Basic outpatient work for veterinary care

Assist the veterinarian on duty with whatever medical or diagnostic procedures are necessary.

Close monitoring of patients. (patients are monitored by at least one staff at ALL TIMES).

Greet clients coming into the hospital while being able to do basic procedures such as weighing the animal, temperature reading, etc.

Proper Sanitation and hygiene in the area.

Basic Administrative Tasks

Willingness to train for possible promotion to Veterinary Nurse.
