Accounting Director | Record to Report

Job Summary:

The Record-to-Report Director will lead the R2R services for the Global hub and other regional services driving transitions; continuous improvement; and transformation agenda. The incumbent will implement and maintain systems of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded and all financial systems are in compliance with company policies & procedures, and regulatory guidelines and requirements. This role will play a critical role in shaping and building the finance and accounting function.

Roles and responsibilities:

Lead the R2R transformation strategy, roadmap and execution; coordinate with enabling stakeholders – Finance leadership team, GSS leadership and GPOs, FME IT/ Digital, among othersDirect and control the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and processes appropriate to the functional area(s)Ensure that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense priority management, recommending and implementing changes to current methodsDevelop and implement new finance and/or accounting policies and procedures through continuous improvement efforts, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and other regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

 5+ years’ experience as Associate Director/Director/VP for R2R preferably within a Finance & Accounting Shared Services / BPOExtensive experience managing diverse teams across various accounting functions in multiple geographiesExtensive experience managing all facets of Finance and AccountingDemonstrated proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP), corporate performance management (CPM), and analytical reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion Enterprise, BEx, etc.)Concrete knowledge of GAAP, SOX and other regulatory requirementsDetail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skillsAmenable to work in shifting schedule and in a hybrid set-upWilling to be assigned in Alabang, Muntinlupa
