WHAT IS A/AN ACCOUNTANT?

Our awesome client, a leading company based in Australia are looking for an experienced, qualified Accountant to act as support for our clients across all facets of accounts management.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

With the support of the team based in Sydney, the Accountant is responsible for a variety of accounting tasks which may include: 

Ensuring timely production of fortnightly financial accounts for the group, including reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts, provisions and accruals,  Preparation of margin analysis for both each class of revenue, Accuracy of financial transactions and reference data in the company ledgers, Client invoicing and collections Expense processing Timesheet completion management and billing Synchronisation of various internal systems, Continuous process improvements, Extracting and presenting data for stake holders  Product re-serialisations, PERSonAL SKILLS AND QUALITIESCPA qualification At least five years’ experience in a similar independent role  Exposure to an Australian organisation for at least 3 years Exposure to USA Sales Tax regime Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, legislation and processes Detailed knowledge and understanding of reconciliations, accruals and provisions Advanced Excel skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent English communication skills, both written & verbal Experience using SunSystems an advantage Temporary Work at Home Set Up
