IMPORT (AIR/SEA) SUPERVISOR

Must be a LICENSED CUSTOMS BROKER

Monitors air freight operations and ensure that procedures are

consistently followed by all air freight staff.

Monitors pre-alerts & follow-up advance copy of shipping docs with

KWE origin stations especially for Manila accounts & other accounts processed under consumption entry.

Forwards advance copy of shipping documents by fax or e-mail to

Branch / Terminal Offices / KWE sales / clients.

Checks actual arrival of shipments from airlines concerned on a

regular basis.

Requests Subcon broker to pick-up original shipping documents from

other consolidators where KWE is the nominated customs broker and ensures that the advance copy and/or original copy are received by Subcon whether under KWE or outside consolidation.

Checks estimated computation of duties & taxes provided by Broker

and send to clients for their checking & approval.

Prepares request for payment for Customs Duty and Tax, Freight

Collect Shipments or Cash Advances if applicable.

Monitors customs clearance and delivery of shipments and ensures

that the required TPT are met.                                       

Monitors status of customs clearance processing and releasing of

Manila accounts & other accounts processed under consumption entry.

Prepares Request for Release for Manila accounts & other accounts

processed under consumption entry.

Monitors if all PNCs are filed on time.Prepares & submit MANCOM report monthly to import Manager.Prepares & submit Air import Daily Tonnage Report.Monitors amount of Bond Premium advanced by KWE.Monitors freight collect charges, amendments & other expenses

advanced by KWE.

Prepares & send Daily Monitoring Report of Toyota Motor shipments.Monitors CPCO & VAT Exempt requirements submitted by clients & sends update regularly.Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time. LICENSED CUSTOMS BROKER
