Tax Accountant US (Senior to Managerial Level)

Responsibilities:

Builds new and manages existing client relationships and demonstrates basic knowledge of clients' businessesReviews federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizationsHandles federal, state, and local tax auditsPrepares research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authoritiesTrains and supervises staff, reviews and evaluates their workManages multiple client engagements and responds well to competing prioritiesActively participates in attracting new clients and talent

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS in Accountancy or any relevant degreeCPA is an advantage but not requiredAt least 3 years prior experience in US taxation (public accounting experience preferred)Tax audit experienceSignificant supervisory experience (2+ years)Strong accounting and analytical skillsResearch proficiencyStrong computer skills: proficiency preferred in ProSystem FX, RIA Checkpoint, and MS OfficeExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-taskWell-rounded in dealing with high-net-worth individuals and businesses
