Product Materials Compliance Engineer

Position Objectives:

Responsible to gather, process, and evaluate material data to monitor restricted substances in Lear Corporation’s products in compliance with the environmental legislations from different parts of the worldAcquires immediate customer feedback on quality and timeliness of work output, analyzes the feedback and develop improvement ideasSupport Lear’s goal and policy on material sourcing due diligence.Reporting and coordination with project teams within Lear organization.Communicate with suppliers on a regular cadence to meet data collection objectives.Able to attend discussions and collaboration with international industry membership work groups.

Qualifications:

A graduate of BS Chemical Engineering, BS Material Engineering or any related courseApplicants with experience and fresh graduates are welcome to applyEmbodies high sense of professionalism and can multi-taskProcess-oriented and strong analytical skills, has a keen eye for details and improvementCan work with minimal supervision, willing to do overtime, flexible work schedule as the need arisesHighly proficient in both oral and written English language communicationGood interpersonal skills and a team playerFast-learner and self-initiated individual
