Senior Accountant (Freight Accounting)

Role and Responsibilities:

Prepare journal entries.Ensure journal entries and financial records adhere to established controls, accounting principles and policiesEnsure accurate and appropriate recording of revenues, expenses, accruals, adjustments etc.Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and supporting documentsReconcile balance sheet accounts in Blackline and coordinate with appropriate departments for the resolution of any reconciling item.Prepare freight shipments not yet billedAnalyze freight trends and variances and be able to speak about them with business unit managementPrepare freight and related reports as may be requestedAssist with audits by providing supporting records and documentationAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

BS Accountancy or BS in Commerce major in Accounting graduateCertified Public Accountant preferred but not required.

Willing to work night shift

Willing to work in Pasay (MOA area)
