Junior Merchandiser - Davao Branch

JOB SUMMARY:Primarily responsible for buying the right assortment of fashion and sports articles from the supplier, at the right time, quantity and price.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and/or related field.  2-4 years of work experience in retail operations specifically in the Sports and Fashion Industry. At least one year of experience specializing in Merchandising. Knowledgeable in Category Management and Product Specifications.Knowledgeable in Visual Merchandising Standards and Strategies.Knowledgeable in Retail Store Operations especially in the sports and fashion industry.Basic Proficiency in Business Mathematics.Capable of analyzing sales and inventory data.Basic skills in inventory forecasting and budgeting. Intermediate proficiency in using Excel. Proficient customer service orientation.Proficient skills in people management such as coaching, mentoring, and conflict management.Proficient in training and presenting the information.Good planning and organizing skills. Coordinating skills. Good Merchandising Skills.Good written and verbal communication skills. Resourceful and creative.Enthusiastic and energetic.Detail-orientedCandidate must be willing to work in Davao City.
