Job DescriptionKDCI Outsourcing is a global eCommerce services provider for startups and established companies. We help our clients build, grow, and maintain their online businesses by providing support for product information management, back office, graphic design, web development, customer service, and digital marketing.The company is looking for a Product Description Enrichment Writer with demonstrated experience in writing high-converting product descriptions that increase traffic and drive online sales on all eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong commercial awareness, a good knowledge of various online marketplaces, and a portfolio of published works.ResponsibilitiesWrite compelling copy for use on a variety of eCommerce platforms and websitesProofread and revise content to match the client’s desired tone and styleImplement SEO best practices to improve the brand’s online visibility and search engine rankingConduct competitive research to determine the product’s strong and weak pointsAdhere to the established style guides to align content with the client’s eCommerce brandingStay up-to-date with the company’s and related industry’s latest developments and trendsOther duties assigned by the immediate supervisorRequirementsExperience in creating engaging and persuasive product descriptions/copyMust be proficient MS ExcelKnowledge of search engine optimization principles is an advantageFamiliarity in using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as but not limited to Salsify, Magento, and ShopifyUsed writing and proofreading tools such as Grammarly, AutoCrit, and ProWritingAidHighly familiar with different online marketplaces such as Amazon, Home Depot, eBay, Wayfair, Walmart and TargetPrevious work in eCommerce and/or technology websites is a plus.Experience using different online marketplaces, whether as seller or buyer, is an advantageMust be comfortable handling and working with different clients and/or campaignsMust be amenable to work during US business hours
