Since its establishment in 1919, Victorias Milling Company, Inc. (VMC) successfully weathered wars and various crises to become one of the largest sugar companies in the world. VMC has managed to remain the top raw sugar manufacturer and refiner in the country to this day. Less than a decade ago, the company strategized towards diversification -- food, fuel, power. As it continues to ensure that its sugar business remains sustainable, the company simultaneously strives to become a leader in the power and ethanol industries. VMC has indeed found its strength in diversification, building a conglomerate of companies in the areas of food processing, leisure, real estate, and energy generation.
