Financial Master Data Analyst

Primary Functions:

Manages Finance Master Data creation and changes in Asia SAP.Manages Finance Master Data requests in FreshService – which includes General ledger accounts, Cost Centers, Profit Centers and Vendors. This will also require a full understanding of all required fields for each.Updates/Maps/Creates Finance, Customer, and Vendor Master Data requests in our S4Hana system. ongoing updating and maintaining systems as needed.Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.Assist with SAP AIF(Applications Interface framework) – Monitor and troubleshoot system issues daily, in our S4hana system Conducts data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused data, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.Assist in developing and utilizing reporting solutions to provide flexible and timely information to system users.Assist with developing and implementing strategies to translate business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable data warehouse designs to ensure that business needs are met.Assist with enhancement projects, implementations and upgrades by assisting requirement gathering for complex business procedures while providing best business practices knowledge, documentation, data analysis, solutions and presentation. Will strive to enable global solutions for all sites.Assist with harmonizing and improving finance and controlling business processes at local sites and across all global locations for compliance and ones that improve productivity.Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.

Job Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree is required with minimum 2-4 years of experience in SAP.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Willingness to learn.Strong team orientation & ability to collaborate with the business & IT organizations.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to retain & convey a positive attitude in challenging circumstances.Ability to influence & obtains results while fostering a positive environment.Ability to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being adaptable & flexible.Strong analytical skills; ability to distill information from disparate data sources, the capability to tell the “story” behind it & recommendations for next steps.Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer 3-5 years of SAP experience. 1 year with a focus of Master Data Management.Business knowledge of financial business processes. Ideally having worked in the business in accounting/finance.Experience in a multi-instance landscape for a global organization.Experience working in SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
