JOB PURPOSE:
The Distribution Center Assistant for Goods Dispatch is responsible for providing assistance in supervising and managing the warehouse activities to ensure productivity.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the warehouse activities particularly endorsement of goods to be Transport team.
• Coordinates with the Transport team and other departments the regular dispatch schedules in DC.
• Provide accurate and efficient record keeping for all delivery orders.
• Complete administrative duties as required.
• Prepares related reports as required.
• Reports to the Goods Dispatch Manager any deviations in the processes and recommends remedial measures accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Applicant must be college graduate of any course, preferably related to Sales.
• At least 1-year related working experience.
• Can communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Computer literate.
• Results-oriented and has a good command of urgency under extreme pressure.
• Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Innovative and highly organized.
• Act sensibly to meet deadlines and commitments to clients.
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal supervision.
