Legal Counsel (HoldCo)

Responsible for ensuring that the company’s functional groups are compliant with labor laws while performing their functions and pursuing or preserving the interests of the Company. Responsible for drafting, reviewing, monitoring, and assisting in the negotiation of Contracts entered into by the Company.Responsible for monitoring and supervising ALC's in the handling and monitoring of claims and cases where the Company is a party or is affected, and for coordinating with external counsel, should the Company choose to engage them.Provides legal assistance to HR and other stakeholders in reviewing all matters related to the interpretation, application, and enforcement of labor laws, rules, and regulations such as employee movements and administrative cases against employees.Responsible for ensuring the Company’s compliance with all labor laws, rules, and regulations.Responsible for providing legal advice, opinions, and other legal assistance necessary for all transactions of the Company.Responsible for developing a high-performing and engaged team by diligently training and coaching the team to enhance their competencies and create a conducive climate where they are engaged to perform their best and contribute to the attainment of team objectives.

What will make you successful

University degree level education (Law/Juris Doctor)Licensed lawyer (Admitted to the Philippine Bar)With at least 5-8 years of experience in contracts, labor, litigation, and special projectsWith exposure to construction and infrastructure projects/industry is an advantage Willing to work onsite in STP, San Juan CityProficient in MS Office applicationsDemonstrable business acumen and ability to communicate effectively across various levels in the business
