The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed by the Supply Chain Senior Associate. This is not limited to other duties, responsibilities or projects that may be assigned.

Transport ManagementMarine Insurance & Claims Management

SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:

Freight Management Has industry experience in shipping and can coordinate well with freight forwarders, NVOCC, agents abroad, shipping lines, and courier companies.Has the knowledge and ability to streamline the flow of goods, and to select timely and cost-efficient modes of transportation for all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as storage of goods.Cargo Clearance - Familiar with the shipping documents required in the customs clearance and able to coordinate with the brokersTrade Regulations - Has a theoretical knowledge about incoterms and trade-economic partnerships with ASEAN and other countries.Regulatory Compliance - Familiar with DTI-BPS ICC documentary requirements and able to coordinate with the third-party service provider  Marine Cargo Policy and Claim - Able to coordinate with the insurance provider, and comprehend and execute the claim management work instruction. Forecasting and reporting - Able to utilize google apps and Microsoft applications, knowledgeable in excel and GSheet formula, and can use office equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

All tasks related to the shipping (VAN/LCL/AIR/COURIER) but not limited to the execution of the transport processes. The Senior Supply Chain Associate is also responsible for the following:Ensure efficient use of transportation resources while meeting the needs of all stakeholders and customersInteracts with key customers (internal and external) and understands their requirements that affect sourcing activities.Maximize freight loads while minimizing freight costs.Monitors contract compliance of carriers and logistics service providers.Provides transportation-oriented analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.All tasks related to the execution of the marine insurance and claim management. Identify, assess, and control the potential threat to the organization from the losses due to perils of the sea and AirNegotiate with the insurer and adjuster Other duties as assigned by the superior
