Position Title: Credit Risk Officer 

Job Summary: 

The Credit Risk Officer will plan, design and direct comprehensive credit review plans to determine the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of key credit controls at the bank’s various lending units. The role will also independently validates the classification and risk ratings of sampled accounts and shall recommend appropriate monitoring tripwires and action plans on high risk sampled accounts. The position will also report findings and recommendations to line and senior management. 

Role Exposure: 

Provide an independent assessment of a lending unit’s adherence to the bank’s credit underwriting, documentation, collateral, approval, risk grading, classification, problem recognition and management standards.Recommends appropriate action plans/tripwires on sampled accounts which are considered high risk.Assists in the development, recommendation and establishment of credit risk management standards and policies

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Business Experience and knowledge in credit risk assessment
