Qualifications:
Graduate of Veterinary Medicine or completed at least 6th year in Veterinary MedicineLicensed and non-licensed veterinarians are welcome to applyKnowledgeable with small animal medicine (dogs and cats) is preferredExperience as a Veterinary assistant, Vet Nurse or Vet Technician is a plusWith good communication skillsMust be knowledgeable in basic computer applicationsFresh graduates are welcome to applyThis is for dayshift schedule (5AM-2PM, 6AM-3PM, 7AM-4PM and 8AM-5PM)Must be willing to do office-based work set up, full time position availableWilling to start on October 3, 2022As a Veterinary Claims Assessor, you shall process claims from customers of our brand partners in an accurate, efficient and professional manner. Furthermore, the role means you have the following responsibilities and accountabilities:
• Attaching the claim documents to proper policy
• Lodging the invoice details accurately
• Taking ownership of the claim for assessing under “ ready for assessment’ status
• Assessing of claims which includes:
o Reviewing all pertinent documents including but not limited to the vet history as well as previous claims
o Analysing relevant information to come up with the correct diagnosis
o Identifying applicable treatments and/or procedures to the condition being claimed for
o Verifying system-calculated benefits to ensure accurate payout to customers
o Authorising claim within your designated authority limit
o Composing notes on ‘not admitted’ claims, including treatments and/or procedures not covered
• Processing ‘Initial Status’ and “Ready for Assessment” claims in your respective assessing queue
• Exercising due diligence in requiring additional documents from customers
• Classifying express post transactions to its proper category and processing such cases accordingly
• Classifying histories and invoices tasks to its proper category and processing such cases accordingly
• Completing the claim process within an agreed turnaround time
