Biomedical Technologist

The Biomedical Technologist is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all medical equipment in the Hospital. This position applies engineering principles and materials technology to healthcare. This can include researching on the better type, as well as in the managing of the use, of clinical equipment in Chong Hua Hospital. S/He ensures that all medical equipment are in efficient and reliable working condition at all times and creates the reports that serve as the basis for recommendation and future action by the Administration. Graduate of any Engineering course in Biomedical, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Electrical or related fields. Graduates of Vocational or TESDA Biomedical Technician Courses can also be considered provided they have at least one (1) year of Biomedical Engineering experience.With related work experience in the repair and maintenance of bio-medical equipment is an advantage.Can read and interpret technical diagrams of equipmentGood customer service and interpersonal skills.Above average computer and systems knowledge (MS Office, Paint, Photoshop, Excel and Outlook)Good English communication skills, both oral and written. Can speak the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog.
