Facilities Engineering Supervisor

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor supports the Facilities and Engineering Team in all aspects of the facilities operations and maintenance, specifically in relation to the building and the services within, to ensure its suitability as a safe working environment. Analyzes all root causes of problems/issues encountered in the day-to-day activities and implements concrete solutions. The Supervisor keeps the facility running efficiently by overseeing both personnel and equipment. Participates in the development of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures, makes recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures. Participates in the implementation of the approved policies and procedures and monitors work activities to ensure compliance to these. S/He also communicates to the Manager for Facilities & Engineering all maintenance concerns and issues that may arise.

Also, the incumbent may be required to take charge of the planning, designing, construction/installation, operation and maintenance of mechanical, electronic or electrical machine and equipment depending on the area of assignment. S/He may be tasked to lead a cross-functional team focused to improve some areas of services for the organization and may be required to evaluate performance of cross-functional team members. Participates in the continuous quality improvement of service, safety procedures and activities.  

QUALIFICATIONS

 Graduate of B.S in Electrical Engineering with minimum of five (5) year relevant work experience.Registered Electrical Engineer / Professional Electrical Engineer.Can read and interpret electrical plans/blueprints, civil & architectural plans/blueprints and technical/schematic diagrams of equipment.Read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications; knowledge in basic AutoCAD is an advantage.Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application and networking.Possesses leadership qualities to aid in building, maintaining, and elevating relationships with CHH internal and external stakeholders and drive the achievement of business strategies and results.Good English communication skills, both oral and written.
