PAFCPIC is a multi-awarded first billionaire cooperative in the Philippines and its main business is offering financial services to members through loans and deposit services. It has been in business for 37 years since its establishment in November 1981. Membership is voluntary and is composed primarily of active and retired Philippine Army (PA), Navy, Airforce and civilian personnel and their immediate dependents, now totaling 135,035 and total assets are now at P22 billion (figures as of end Oct 2018).The main office stands as a landmark along Bayani Road, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City while its 25 satellite offices are scattered throughout the country- 13 in Luzon, 5 in Visayas, and 7 in Mindanao.As a cooperative, PAFCPIC is registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) under Certificate of Registration/ Confirmation No. MLA-C-356 dated 27 Mar 1991, and re-registered under Certificate of Registration No. 9520-16000421 dated 16 October 2009, in compliance with the Philippine Cooperative Code of 2008.
