REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree, business or engineeringAt least 1-2 years’ experience in Purchasing/Buying of Electronic / Electrical components/ Mechanical componentsTraining/exposure in Electronics an advantageAnalytical skillResult orientedSpeed and FlexibilityIntermediate MS Excel skillsGood English communication (read, write and speak)Value Integrity and Work EthicsCustomer Oriented Initiative and ResourcefulnessSpeed and FlexibilityAdaptabilityRotating shift schedule (mid shift schedule and night shift schedule). Note: 2PM-11PM and 8PM-5AMWillingness to learn and open for training and individual development programs.Support & Deliver Excellence in Team & Company goals & objective

JOB DUTIES:

Places P.O. with suppliers, reschedules P.O.’s and expedites past due P.O.’s.Resolves receipt discrepancies, accounting issues and DMR issues.Reviews all requisitions for completeness, description, appropriate approval and delivery date.Procures commodities based on MRP, forecast and history.Maintains PPV standard costs.Negotiates pricing and delivery with assigned vendors.Vendor master maintenance (computer). Vendor file maintenance (hard copy). Tracks vendor performance. Knowledgeable about the laws and regulations that pertain to the procurement of these requirements.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
