职位描述
Oversee the day-to-day ship operations from preventive maintenance & repairs, compliance to all the required licenses, certifications & marine regulations, preparation of the material requests & approval (tools, fuel, oil, and the like), conduct general ship inspection, and proper documentations of all the required reports.
Responsibilities:
Attends to the vessel regularly, details of every visit/inspection and maintenance on board must be reported and submitted to the Fleet Manager and/or VP Marine-Engineering.Preparations of dock repair order specifications; class survey items; required part parts for the hull, engine, and electrical; stores and parts to be identified & to be submitted 45 days before docking schedule for approval.Preparations of the yearly budget of the vessel.Analyze damage condition for hull and engine/machinery, issue Inter-Office Advisory and to be submitted for approval before repair work starts.Investigations of the ship’s reports on Accident & Hazardous Occurrences, Engine / Machinery Breakdown Report, Near-Miss (Hazardous Occurrences) Report, and Ship’s Internal Report. Ensure all ship incidents reported (via E-mail) by shore-based Radio officers must have valid SMS Checklist documents.Monitor vessel’s hull & machinery job order repairs until completion. Ensure the Spare parts / Stores requisition are supplied in good order condition & according to the required standard.Monitoring and updates/status report of vessel’s Non-conformity from MARINA External Audit and Shipboard Internal Audit, the recommendations from Class Society and P&I Club (Insurance) and to ensure the compliance/completion.Review the validity of the ship’s documents, and certificates & update the SMS Checklist. Shipboard Master’s Review and Safety Committee Meeting Report shall properly acknowledge and shall issue some feedback/comments on said reports.Monitor Class Status, arrange Class Survey & shall attend at the time of the survey.Carry out an onboard general inspection of the vessel once every three (3) months. Ensure that all navigational, safety, and engine/machinery equipment has complied with the Marina Authority, Class Society Regulations, and P&I Club.Monitoring of Preventive Maintenance System and its Engine/Machinery running hours. Ensure that all due for maintenance are properly done and rectified.Proper monitoring, updates, and Review of the Engine and Deck Abstract, particularly the fuel/lube-oil and water consumption of the vessel. The result of oil analysis recommendations must be monitored and rectified.Process requisition of fuel / lube oil and water requirements of the vessel and submit for approval by the Fleet Manager and VP Marine- Engineering.Assist the Master when the ship encountered oil pollution and support / provide adequate resources on safety and pollution prevention aspects of the vessel.In charge of Situation A in the Emergency Response TeamQualifications:
Marine or Engineering Graduate; Licensed EngineerMust have a work experience as a Chief Engineer, 2nd Engineer, or 3rd Engineer.Organized and have good communication skills (both verbal and written)Must have a strong passion for Ship ManagementPlanned Maintenance System experienceKnowledgeable using Microsoft window applicationsFamiliarity with ISM and ISPSMust be willing to be assigned in Tondo, Manila
