SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER (Chemicals / Metals)

Responsibilities:

Reports directly to Technical ManagerSupervises less senior engineers and provide support and feedback in the projects. The person in this role is proactive, critical and creative thinker, and is eager to solve problems and share new ideas and solutions.Plans, organizes, and tracks daily work for process development, continuous improvement, and emergency response for production, develops and maintains Technical Group procedures and best practices and direct chemists and engineers in material characterization and process development, process transfer to production and monitoring of processes in the plant.Responsible in continuously improving and optimizing the plant processes to increase productivity and expand output and services.Accountable for the successful completion of assigned tasks and preparation of Process Engineering deliverables.

Requirements:

B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or metallurgy, preferably with Master’s degreeAt least 5 years experience in chemical/manufacturing operations or similar environmentExperience in process simulationExperience with manufacturing operations and productsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma or any related problem-solving toolsGood analytical skills and should be detail-orientedGood team playerGood leadership and communication skillWilling to work in Cavite Economic Zone, Rosario, Cavite, Philippines
