AUTHOR FACING GRAPHIC ARTIST
Your job is to apply corrections in the design, format, and layout of both the cover and interior parts of the book on a real-time basis. You will also communicate with customers via telephone, email, and/or letter on the status of book production process.

Answers customers' questions and address concerns, and educate them on services scope and design/print standards. Assesses corrections and instructions submitted by the customer making sure they are workable and implemented.Ensures process improvement to drive improvements in productivity, efficiency and customer satisfactionUsing Adobe InDesign to create the initial and revision layouts based on set formatting and technical specifications provided by the authorMaking sound design decisions about potential layout issues based on standard operating procedures for design-related workApplying and/or altering template styles according to an author’s requirementsThis job is perfect for you if you have . . .
