We’re looking for a SEO Copywriter to create effective and compelling web copy that is optimized to rank in search engines for priority keywords and drive conversions. You’ll be working closely with internal SEO and product teams to identify opportunities for content marketing, testing, and optimization. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, data-savvy copywriter to have a big impact on growing traffic to our experimental products and co-branded products. This role /will work remotely with the product and SEO teams located in our Austin and Vancouver offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft high-impact web copy that is optimized to rank for competitive, priority keywords and drive user acquisition to high-priority webpages.based on analysis of title tag conversion rates and organic search rank, develop title tags and meta descriptions for ongoing optimization and experimentation.Write a compelling copy to test and validate those hypotheses.Analyze SEO analytics, key competitors, and interpret organic search trends to prioritize pages & content for search engine optimization.Perform keyword research using industry standard software (eg: GSC, SEMrush).Research and reference data from authoritative 3rd party websites.Write clear and concise, high quality copy to achieve objectives.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in conversion copywriting and/or SEO copywriting for brands or agencies.Advanced knowledge of SEO/conversion writing best practices and trends.Exceptional writing and communication skills. Ability to clearly explain important concepts to various audiences.Proven track record of creating search- and conversion-optimized web pages and content that contributes to clear business results.Strong understanding on how search engines work, and how to use this knowledge to provide real benefit to users.Proficiency with web analytics and SEO platforms (Google Search Console, SEMRush)Ability to quantify SEO initiative impact and prioritize accordingly.Decision Making: consistently chooses the best course of action (from a number of alternatives) to address business problems and/or opportunities.about Us
