Job Description:

We're looking for a Platform Reliability Engineer to work on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure PaaS (Platform as a Service), Enterprise Data Lake, CI/CD pipeline with Platform Services. They will proactively assist in the management of platform operations and its configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with AKS cluster operations, including upgrade and patchingWork with Development team to onboard applications into AKS clusterUpgrade and Support Enterprise Data Lake components (e.g., Azure Data Bricks, Data Factory, Machine Learning, Synapse)Create new and maintain existing CI/CD pipelinesWork with Infrastructure as Code terraform templatesDevelop and refactor Kubernetes manifests and helm chartsThird party solutions deploymentCollaborate with key partners, other IS groups, operational support teams and vendorsAct as domain specialist on platform for internal clients and teams within the organizationIdentify and escalate issues around platform management, compliance, and security patterns

Qualifications:

University degree (Computer Science or related subject area preferred) or equivalent experience2+ years of relevant technical experience in the support and administration of AKS/IAAS/ASE/Data Lake PAAS/CICD pipeline eco-system,Shows in-depth understanding of constraints of various Azure ServicesExperience working with Agile methodologiesBroad knowledge of other related technical disciplines: Linux OS, middleware, database, load balancing, capacity, and performance management, etc.Ability to learn new technologies and keep up to date on the vendor landscape; ability to quickly comprehend the functions, capabilities, and impact of new technologies
