Job Description:

We’re looking for a Derivatives Operations Analyst to take charge of daily reconciliation and settlement of derivative products executed by Front Office.

Through their expertise, they ensure the continuity of service through inter-department cross-training.

Key Responsibilities:

Issue margin calls, substitutions, and general collateral oversight/margin management for Futures, OTC, and Cleared productsDevelop and manage working relationships with clearing broker back-office counterpartsUpdate or create new process documents for all tasks relevant to the position and maintain internal database of all process documentsContribute to the gathering of data for quarterly metrics reporting to senior managementComplete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting duties in a timely mannerProvide assistance to other team members and management team when requiredParticipate in inter-department cross training to ensure continuity of service

Qualifications:

Degree in Math, Business, Finance or other related fields2+ years of work-related experience in Banking, Finance, and/or Investments fieldBasic knowledge of financial markets and Investment Management terminologiesKnowledge and exposure to derivative products such as Swaps, FX, Options, Futures, and Forwards, and/or Collateral Management functions relevant to coupons, commission schedule, broker fees, and initial/variation marginKnowledge and understanding of trade life cycle and varying levels of reconciliationFamiliarity with broker statements / portal and general knowledge of custody operationsComputer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsProficiency in ISDA, CSA, and Give-Up AgreementsKnowledge and familiarity on bank/suspense reconciliationKnowledge in SWIFT and international wire instructionsGood problem-solving skills with high level of accuracy, and attention to detailsExcellent written and oral English and communication skills
