Position Purpose
Ensures maintenance of facility aesthetics through planning and performing a variety of painting and refinishing activities required for facility maintenance
Key Responsibilities
Estimates and schedules labor and materials and prioritizes urgency of job requests.Performs painting and refinishing activities including floor and wall covering installation, selecting and matching/mixing materials, cleaning and preparing damaged walls.Detects and reports defective material and unusual co
nditions to supervisor.Follows standard and prescribed safety standards and procedures including placing appropriate wet paints and other warning signs, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area, appropriate maintenance of tools and equipment, and the appropriate use and disposal of solvents.Follows emergency respo
nse processes and procedures.
