Technical Writer - Engineering

Generate technically and grammatically correct test reports on critical customer electrical assets, based on test data and reference materials supplied by Technical Service, Electrical Reliability Services. The customer test report details inspected customer equipment, inspection procedures, and inspection results and recommendations..Requirements:• 2 years of professional experience in the field of electrical servicing or construction.• Familiarity with standards from National Electrical Code (NEC), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American National (ANSI).• Working knowledge of:(1) tests performed on circuit breakers, switchgears, transformers, and other power distribution components and equipment;(2) power quality issues and perspectives, and experience with power quality analyzer software; and(3) infrared inspections and issues, and experience with thermal imaging software.• Good knowledge of technical English, and good business writing skills.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Effective working with teammates and POCs.
