Senior Assistant - Claims Accounting

JOB SUMMARY

To provide information and other statistical data on Outstanding Losses for all lines. To assist in the processing of claims related disbursements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis and Classification

Processes claims related disbursements.Checks the accuracy of the amount to be paid with the supporting documents.Checks the supporting documents for completeness and correctness of information

Summarization

Provide data and statistical information on Losses & Claims Payable for all lines to management, reinsurers, actuarial, auditors and government agencies in compliance with regulatory requirements.Consolidates losses and claims payable all lines to provide various schedules and reports.Prepares schedule of treaties for reinsurer’s share with excess of loss computation if any.Provides quarterly reports and statistics of Outstanding Losses to external actuaries.Prepares interim and annual schedules on Losses and Claims Payable for external auditors (SGV).Provides quarterly and annual schedule on Losses and Claims Payable for government and regulatory agencies.

Administrative

Manage Data Downloading Facilities (Accounting)Upload and checks data accuracy related to Outstanding Losses in APEXMaintains up to date file of Losses and Claims Payable.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business related course.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and ExcelWith at least 1 year of related work experience.Can work with minimum supervision.Willing to work in Makati area.
