Senior Accountant (SLV)

4pm to 1am | Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

·        Accountable for timely, accurate financials for assigned clients.

·        Prepares the monthly and yearly close across multiple clients on a timely basis.

·        Perform detailed review of trial balance and related general ledger activities to identify and fix errors.

·        Ensures completeness and correctness of books for every fiscal month.

·        Prepare as well as review monthly account reconciliations and related journal entries.

·        Reconciles accounts receivable.

·        Calculates and records accruals.

·        Maintains inventory tracking spreadsheets.

·        Track and record fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

·        Update and maintain prepayment and other relevant schedules.

·        Prepares bank reconciliations.

·        Facilitates daily accounting activities including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable.

·        Facilitates in review and clean-up of books of new clients.

·        Facilitates preparation of 1099 tax forms.

·        Generates reports, and ad hoc tasks and works on special projects as needed.

·        Supports the accounting manager for monthly financial statements, managing P&L, balance sheets, annual audits, and financial reports.

·        Assist in maintaining a system of internal controls.

·        Participate in reviewing necessary procedures including expenses, payroll records, inventory, cash, etc.

·        Recommend, design, and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy.Certified Public Accountant is preferred.At least 3 years of work experience as a Senior Accountant is required for this role.Good analytical, numerical, and presentational skills.Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.Experience in Automated Systems.Must have strong English written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high work volume/mid-shift environment with excellent time management skills.A background in Restaurant Accounting is an advantage.Experience in an accounting/consulting firm is an advantage.Proactive with good interpersonal skills and a team player.
