职位描述
The Financial Accountant will be joining the Finance Department and reporting to the Financial Controller. Duties include processing end-of-month journals, managing the general ledger, reconciliations, and submitting reports.

Job Details:
Financial Accountant
Eastwood Libis, QC
Monday to Friday | 6 AM to 3 PM
*Will be following Australian Holidays
*There is a 2-week shutdown for this account during December
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely completion of the Group’s month-end close activities including processing end-of-month journals
• Balance sheet accounts monthly reconciliations
• Intercompany P&L and loan reconciliations
• Managing the general ledger
• Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly board reports and management reports
• Preparation of monthly BAS returns for all companies within the group
• Weekly cash flow reporting
• Assisting external accountants with the preparation of annual financial statements, FBT, and tax returns.
• Liaison with internal finance department accounts payable and account receivable & payroll personal
• Assist with the Budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
• Ad hoc reports & analysis as required by the owners or board
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years working in a similar role
• Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping competencies
• Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero or equivalent software
• Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in particular Microsoft Excel
Nice to have:
• Proficient in Xero Accounting Software
• CPA or CA qualified or studying to be CPA or CA
