Accounts Payable Specialist | Day 1 HMO | Night Shift | Hybrid

The client is a global company that proudly manufactures seats and interior components for automotive and power sport OEMs. The client is the Americas corporate headquarters and technical center. They strive to be a good corporate citizen by being environmentally conscious and supporting local community activities and charities.Tell me about the roleThe role will mainly support activities related to accounts payable for an automotive manufacturing environment with knowledge of integrated ERP systems and related transactions.The position will be night shift between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 am Philippines local time in order to work closely with the US based stakeholders. The majority of the work schedule will be in accordance to US work schedules except for important Philippines holidays.Candidate will communicate and work very closely with multiple US group companies on accounts payable. Strong communication as well as problem-solving skills will be necessary. Supports basic accounts payable functions.Receives and vouchers supplier invoices along with related debit & credit memos, retros, etc. as required.Reconciles accounts payables to the general ledger.Prepares adjusting journal entries, performs account analysis and account reconciliationsAssist with the month-end closing process and financial statement preparationProvides accurate, complete and timely financial reporting while complying with Company mandated internal controls.Assist with other duties and task as assignedCandidate profileCollege degree in accounting, finance, or related business area preferred with minimum of 5-year experience in accounts payable fieldKnowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
