US Tax Accountant (Onsite) - With 20k Signing Bonus

The position is responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, including ensuring all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely and accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws.Duties and Responsibilities:Tax return preparation1099 year-end tax information reporting and tax planningGeneral accounting for client business’ to be used in preparing income tax returns, including preparation of trial balances and related adjusting journal entries; preparing deposits and disbursement requestsAssist with general administrative functions of the Tax DepartmentAssist with other Corporate accounting projects as neededAssist with special projects, as necessaryStay current on the latest tax law changesRequirements:Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and Quick Books.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
