Instrument Design Engineer

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics, Electrical or other engineering courseRequired skill(s): MS Office, AutoCad, P&ID, SPIAt least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Can check Engineering documents and Calculation Sheets.Can execute and supervise field engineering work.

To ensure project completion in accordance with project specifications, schedule and customer requirements within the budget manhours. In the process, ensuring resources allocation for the project, establishing clear communication with clients, other disciplines and vendors, and monitoring project efficiency, i.e. manhour consumption against actual project progress.

Prepares initial plan of job execution philosophy for approval by the Department Manager and Team Manager.Acts as Lead Engineer for both IDC and NIDC projects.Establishes design engineering schedule for the assigned responsibility.Provides instructions and advice to Engineers.Reviews construction drawings and design documents prepared by the Engineers, CAD Operator/Encoder if it conforms to design philosophy, design conditions, design criteria and specifications prior to review of the Technical Auditor.Coordinates with client, other disciplines, and or vendors on project-related matters.Prepares project progress reports.Prepares project technical proposals and cost estimates.Assist in the preparation and execution of training of colleagues in the department.Coordinates with other Engineers, CAD Operators/Encoders in order to produce a standardized design concept.
