The candidate:
Preferably a graduate of any business-related course (Finance, Accounting or Management).3 years experience in various investment operations processesWorking knowledge of cash management, fund accounting, corporate actions, pricing and valuations in pension, mutual funds and institutional funds with understanding of downstream impact to portfolios valuations in both internal/external systems.Operations/Accounting experience with private debt, private equity, bank loans, fixed income, mortgages, derivatives, real estate, oil and gas, and timber is a plusGood Communication skills both written and verbal.On the job, you will:
Ensure accuracy of all positions, cash and broker data across internal systemsPerform cash/transaction/holdings reconciliations between internal records and Administrator files.Support cash management including start of day cash reconciliation, cash projection review and cash management including processing fee payments, fund transfers and FX transactions to support funding needs of the portfolio managers.Support daily processing of trade matching and settlements.Monitor and manage relevant key risk indicators. Diagnose issues and prepare action plans to recommend risk mitigation.Produce monthly quarterly reporting, cash balance reconciliation and daily holdings reconciliation, and provide to internal teamsReview and refine existing controls/procedures to continuously improve the quality of these controls and ensure clear and concise documentation is created and maintained.Participate in projects on an ad-hoc basis.
