OPERATIONS PLANNING ANALYST

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business1 to 3 years Planning or Data AnalyticsAble to perform tasks with minimal supervisionKnowledgeable in basic data analytic tools such as MS ExcelTechnical Skills required: Data Analytics, Materials Requirements Planning or Production PlanningStrong communication skills, able to articulate detailed process steps or specific action items with easeStrong time management skills, able to line up the necessary actions to prevent disruptions on the production and material flowStrong coordination skills, able to put agreements into actions with multiple people in the organizationStrong problem-solving skills, able to detect issues and propose solutions before it affects plant performanceFamiliar with Lean Manufacturing ConceptsWork location: SM Cyberwest (across SM North Edsa)Work setup:Hybrid (2x/week onsite)Work schedule: Night shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain accurate, realistic, executable, stable, and timely production schedule, material plan, and purchase orders (PO) releases within pre-stated constraints, satisfying customer demand and optimum inventory levels.Identify and recommend solutions and resolutions of conflicts in current and future planning periods where options are greatest, and costs are least to ensure smooth flow of materials and production.Develops a deep working knowledge of the assigned production plant’s key contacts, products, manufacturing, and supplier processes to ensure robustness of production and material plans.Compile, analyze and present data-driven information to monitor and control performance, including but not limited to production planning rates, inventory opportunities, planning parameters and action item commitments.Responsible for promptly answering Customer service, Production, and Supply Chain inquiries related to production and material plans that affects customer and plant performance.Collaborate with Management, Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Engineering to ensure that the production and materials plans are align to high-level Sales & Operations Plans (S&OP).Connect with customers across departments in an open, helpful, and engaging tone to answer their production and materials-related queries.Creates and maintains production schedule, material requirements plan, planning parameters, kanban replenishment plan.Support Customer Service on Sales Order inquiries, Production Site on material availability inquiries, and Supply Chain on supplier information inquiries.
