Equipment Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary:

Oversees the effective and efficient implementation of Preventive Maintenance and Equipment troubleshooting. He will ensure all strategic action plan and programs for the Engineering team has been implemented and reviewed regularly.

Job Requirements:

Graduate of any Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or any equivalent course1 to 3 years of supervisory experience in similar or related positionsHas basic knowledge on ISO 9001, GMP, 5S, and HACCP system

Some Work Responsibilities:

Ensures that machine, mold, and equipment are in top working condition.Review, approve, and schedule work requests and troublecall related to machine and equipment maintenance and repairEnsures efficient troubleshooting of equipment and immediate feedback is provided to production on status of the equipmentAssist in the assembly and repair of machine, mold, and supporting equipment.Ensures that tool/mold changeover are performed efficiently Assists in commissioning or installation of new machine and equipment.Assess and evaluates condition of machine, mold, and supporting equipment and creates recommendation.Creates all technical reports, technical investigations/ evaluations and endorses to Engineering Manager for approval.Conducts data analysis of the established monitoring and creates recommendation for its improvement and innovation.Assists third party technicians during their visits.Heads in the coordination with Purchasing department and external suppliers in expediting procurement of requests for machines and equipment parts and services·        Coordinate and collaborate with equipment Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for sustainable equipment support and transfer of expertiseOversees the spare parts and tools management to ensure that all critical parts and accessories is available and are replenished on timeSupports in building maintenance, continuous improvement projects, 5S, Safety and GMP projects and activities.Heads in the utilization of system trouble call and initiates improvement of the maintenance systemHeads in the creation, updating, and implementation of standard procedure Performs other duties as directed by superiors from time to time.
