Editorial Specialist - Higher Education

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for copyediting and proofreading assigned manuscripts and other related jobs. Responsibility includes managing assigned manuscripts to obtain quality and timeliness goals.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Copyedits and proofreads assigned manuscripts based on established standards.Performs administrative tasks assigned in all official Procedures, Workflows, Work Instructions, and other processes.Maintains liaison with authors, layout artists, illustrators, and other Publishing associates directly involved with manuscript processing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Education/Teaching/Training, Law, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications, Advertising/Media, Journalism or equivalent.At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent.Very good English/Filipino communication skills (oral and written)Proficient copyediting and proofreading skills with at least 1 year experience in copyeditingRequired skill(s): copyediting, Proofreading.FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY!Full-Time position(s) available.
