IT Security Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Security Manager ensures clear, comprehensive, secure IT system environment to support Filinvest business units and business applications and aligned with Data Privacy laws and regulations, by establishing and implementing group-wide IT-security standards and policies in coordination with other service providers.

JOB DECRIPTION:

Leadership

Adheres to group standards and drives compliance across the groupCan effectively communicate and facilitate key design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholdersEscalates critical IT security failures, breaches, and severe performance issues, and leads resolutionAttend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs

Technical

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and proceduresDevelop and maintain clear information security policy, that balances the need to reduce business risk without sacrificing business effectivenessApply industry and information technology expertise to support project proposals and implementationsManages security access and violations, in coordination with the Application and Infrastructure departments and with related IT Teams within the Filinvest groupProtects data from unauthorized access or accidental loss, by implementing and enforcing appropriate data security procedures and strategies.Designs and simulates DR drills to ensure readiness to handle IT security emergencies.Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.Review reports on incidents and breachesInvestigate and resolve issuesCreate reports for management on security statusAnalyze data to form proposals for improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent Further education in security administration or similar field will be an assetAt least 5 to 10 years equivalent experiencesWilling to be assigned in Alabang or Mandaluyong
