Accounting Supervisor - Cost and Inventory

Ensures accuracy and integrity of the Asset Master Records including asset acquisition, transfers, and disposals.Assists in conducting physical asset count in order to validate the status and condition of assets.Validates recommendations for Asset disposal (through sale, through reassignment, etc) from the Property Custodian.Analyzes and recommends asset status and movement to support additional and new CAPEX requests.Coordinates Company insurances including coordination with Procurement for tapping of third-party insurance providers.Reviews and recommends Fixed Asset Insurance coverage for RGOC by taking into consideration the cost efficiency.Recommends measures to improve processes and policies in relation to Asset and Insurance coverages.Performs reconciliation activities to spot discrepancies in actual physical count and in records.Acts as custodian of Fixed Asset Module, ensures data are updated, and properly classified and tagged in the system.Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of BS Accountancy, CPA is an advantage but not required

Experience(s):

At least 5 years relevant work experience in General Accounting, specifically Asset and Inventory

Specific Knowledge:

Asset Management, Inventory Management

Accounting Standards
