Environmental, Health and Safety Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)Must be a DENR Accredited Pollution Control Officer Accredited Safety Officer/ OSH Practitioner but not requiredWell versed in Building Equipment Operations and Maintenance Audit i.e FIRE PUMP, GENSET, HVAC, FDAS, ELEVATORS, SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANT & ELECTRICAL SYSTEMHas experience in Property Management or Start-up propertyHighly skilled in auditing, troubleshooting and punchlisting of EHS and MEFPS.Has experience in Emergency Response Team i.e Fire Drill and Earthquake Drill and Typhoon Drills, Equipment Drills, Water Interruption Drills.Knowldegable in FIRE PUMP, GENSET, HVAC, FDAS, ELEVATORS, STP & ELECTRICAL SYSTEMAt least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

EHS OFFICER (EHSO):Monitors Compliance with Environmental Health and Safety proceduresConducts Fieldwork to assess Environmental Health and Safety aspects of the managed properties and their compliance to existing standards and proceduresMonitors, Develop and enhance corporate wide Environmental Health and Safety programsActs as the EHS consultant to property concerns and queries regarding Environmental Health & SafetyEnsures that all Fire and Life Safety Equipment of the property is properly monitored and reported as operationalSpearheads the Emergency Response Team and Emergency DrillsPOLLUTION ConTROL OFFICER (PCO)Together with the Managing Head, ensures the compliance with requirements of PD 1586 RA 6969, RA 9275, RA 8749 AND RA 9003 their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRRs) and other pertinent rules and regulationsEnsures the proper performance, operation and maintenance of environmental management facilities or system of the establishment such as the following:Wastewater Treatment FacilitiesAir Pollution Control DevicesHazardous Waste Management Storage Areas (Permanent or Temporary)Solid Waste Management SegregationEnvironmental Monitoring devices such as the continuous emission monitoring System etc.Attends as duly authorized representative of the establishment, technical conferences, hearings and meetings especially on matters pertaining to pollution cases of the establishment where he/she is employedCoordinates Regulatory Programs and activities with the city/ provincial/ municipal government (if applicable)
