CXRO Engineer

Reporting to : Head, Technical Management

Unit : Planning and NRW

Section : Technical Management

Department : Business District/ Business Area

Division : Customer Experience and Retail Operations

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepares the long term or five-year plans and programs of the unit.

2. Extracts, analyzes, and monitors district metered areas (DMAs) flow and pressure and proposes appropriate actions to be taken to address the identified issues

3. Analyzes water supply and pressure within the business area, prepares data for appurtenances checking and reviews field investigation reports for map updating; coordinates with concerned unit/division (Technical Service Division (TSD), Water Supply Operations (WSO) division) for water pressure and supply adjustment

4. Analyzes and monitors materials usage and withdrawals, prepares and submits annual materials requirements (AMR) of the unit to the approvers (recommending approval by the Technical Head and approved by BA Head).

5. Recommends and monitors expenses and resources to be used for planned projects for All Works.

6. Provides support to other business units (i.e., Central Non-Revenue Water Management Division (CNRWMD), Geographic Information System Department (GIS), WSO, and Asset Management Division (IAM), Telemetry Department) such as but not limited to leak tagging, linear asset updating, etc.

7. Consolidates all project proposals, prepares complete technical documents and requirements for budget allocation of proposed billed volume generating capital expenditure (CAPEX) and All-Works and non-revenue water (NRW) related projects

8. Coordinates with local government units (LGUs), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) regarding the implementation of projects/activities

9. Validates suspected illegal connections and issues Notice of Investigation Report (NIR)

10. Proposes the work schedule of the team subject to the approval of the Technical Head

11. Ensures the reading of District Meters and Fire Hydrants

12. Conducts diagnostic activities (i.e., zero pressure test, step-test, water balance, and walk the line)

13. Assists in the creation of Maintenance Order (MO) and generation of Materials Request Slip (MRS) in SAP for materials withdrawal of technical in-house and contractor teams for the company’s Computerized Maintenance Monitoring System (CMMS).

14. Monitors advisories, and prepares and submits reports through the Automated Customer Communication (ACC) system

15. Acts as a resource person or as Business Process Owner (BPO) for the planning, design, and review of process improvement with an end-view of implementation and monitoring.

16. Ensures compliance and maintenance to Integrated Management System (IMS) standards and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PROFESSIonAL LICENSES

Graduate of any engineering course (preferably Civil or Mechanical Engineering)

Licensed Engineer (preferably licensed in Civil or Mechanical Engineering)

WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferably with relevant work experience

Open for fresh graduates

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Preferably with Professional Driver’s License (Manual Transmission)
